Hey, I'm Donna Marie
I'm a Mindset & Accountability Coach, the founder of T4AF Academy, The Flourishing Here Community, and the woman behind D2LAL, where I build websites and brands for small businesses. A New York City girl, Brooklyn born, Queens raised. I wear a lot of hats and I love every one of them.
The first website I ever built was my blog.
I posted stories, poems and photos I took, without judgement. My friends could keep up with my life and react to it in MY safe space, not on everybody else's feed for the whole world to see. That little blog is where I started getting comfortable using my voice.
Then I started building sites for clients. I still remember how excited they got the first time an email came in saying someone filled out their websites form and wanted to learn more. All while they were at work!! That website proved people didn't just care about what they made. People were out there looking for them, on their own time.
Why I love this work
Building websites uses three parts of me at once:
My creative brain that loves using imagination to create worlds.
My logical brain that loves building systems that actually work.
My spirit and heart that gets excited seeing someone's vision come to life.
I'm a sucker for seeing people's dreams come to life!!
Most recently I rebuilt the website for Carole, the founder of St Claire Naturals. She told me that in all her years of working with people, I made the best impression with my work. Then she hired me again for a new project.
Why $100, and why pay what you can
Over 600,000 Black women have been pushed out of the workforce (Institute for Women's Policy Research). When that many people lose a paycheck, the small businesses they used to buy from feel it too. A lot of the business owners I talk to are struggling right now.
So instead of charging each person $850 to build it for them, I'd rather teach you to build it yourself, at a price that makes sense for right now.
